VisionTrack Racing enjoyed one of their best weekends of the season so far. The conditions throughout the practice sessions were wet and windy which appeared to suit the British riders. Josh Whatley enjoyed a much better weekend as he had his best qualifying of the season in 18th position. It was the much needed confidence boost he needed, proving he is more than capable of riding with the best riders in the world.

The race eventually turned out to be the only dry session of the weekend which meant choosing the correct setting was a bit of a gamble for the team. Josh had one of his strongest rides of the season, he dropped to 27th after falling victim to a long lap penalty but battled back past David Alonso to finish the race in 26th position.

“I really enjoyed this weekend, it was the first weekend I’ve had a lot of wet sessions and it was great to see myself higher up the leaderboard. This gave me more confidence in the dry and I’m sure we can build on this weekend next time out in Jerez.”
