VisionTrack Racing travelled to Australia for the penultimate race of the over seas section of the calendar. Fast and flowing in nature the track suited the VisionTrack Racing Honda from the outset with both riders making positive starts to the weekend.

Exposed to the elements the track is famed for varying weather conditions and this weekend was no different. Thankfully the wind settled slightly and Josh eventually qualified in 29th.

True to form, there was a sudden down pour before the race. This quickly dried and although there was a few wet patches on the track, the riders opted for slick tyres. Josh faired really well and had his best ride of the season, managing to bridge the gap to the group in front and having a race long battle with a strong bunch of riders to eventually cross the line in 21st position.

“It was a really fun race, it’s the first time I’ve been able to fight with the group in front which finally shows the progress we’ve been making. It’s given me a lot of motivation going into the next race.”
